yea Im pretty sure you can get an edge for just the gauges. My friend has one in his dodge cummins and uses a smarty tuner.

Yow! For that much money, I'd want more than a monitor!

Yep...just tossing it out there...looks cool and has possibilities for a nav...and can do movies and music....but still to much for that stuff and no tuning.

someone should figure out a way to integrate all the real time data into an existing double din screen...if that other one has the ability to do nav and stuff I would think a double din screen that can do / does nav and stuff could display that info as well.

I think I just found a killer deal on an edge CS, guy had it on a chevy tahoe but it looks like edge sells the same one for all gas models and it can tell what vehicle its installed in. My question is this...Im pretty sure I can have it custom tuned by PHP (im searching as I type) but can anyone confirm this and also does anyone know if it is compatable with my 4r100 trans? Im pretty new to the edge tuners and dont know as much about them.

already went and bought it...too good of a deal to pass up. I used the gauges on the way home and everything worked smoothly, but I am going to wait until I talk to edge tomorrow to make sure it is ok with my trans, BUT it can tune all f150s including lightning and harley trucks, expeditions, navigators, and f250 / f350 gas models which means they have dealt with the 4r100 so Im thinking I am good to go. will confirm tomorrow and try to get ahold of PHP as well.

currently running the edge on level 2 and it def made a nice big difference BUT I ordered a custom tune from PHP today as well, he said it wouldnt be a problem with my mods and says it will be done in 2 weeks. Hope he comes through on the timeframe and hoping his tune is great as well!

Here's a pic - so it happened. My Gryphon is just used for the gauge / DTC features, as the truck is dyno-tuned with a local hack shop w/ the XCal 2 that came with the Magnacharger. Never fear - I'm looking forward to getting to Troyer in Covington the middle of June.

they look so nice in the 04-08's but I dont know if I like the look of the edge pod for the 97-03's...just unfortuneately dont know if there is a better option.

is that a boost gauge in your ac vent? Thats a super clean way of doing it!
