JMSCHIP Tunes

Has anyone had any expierience with JMS custom tunes? I read recently of their abilities and seen a before/after dyno graph of an 09 screw and I must confess I'm ready to make my order. Looking for a second opinion I guess.

I used the search function and it seems they stand behind their work, Looking for any recent experiences.

JMS has been around for a long time in the mustang market and are/were highly regarded. It's been a long time since I've been in the Mustang game, though. Didn't know they tuned the F series.

Where's the link to the dyno graph?

Damn. Very impressive and they do mail-order tunes as well. Prices look sweet if all you need is the tuner. Most places are $50/tune.

Hi OP.

I hope your experience goes more smoothly than this gentleman's initial experience did: https://www.f150online.com/forums/ch...ion-jumps.html

Just for FYI ...Compare those curves to these (and keep in mind they are for a 2009 with 85 octane fuel @ 4500 ft elevation, on a different dyno): https://www.f150online.com/forums/20...ts-2009-a.html PHP's got a much better A/F curve, IMHO.

Note the stock A/F's for each session don't allow proper enrichment - explaining why the stock calibration is such a dog.

Finally - ask them about the degree of TCM control - and how much end-user adjustments are exposed and allowable on the handheld for tranny parameters - never really got an answer to this in that thread.

Good luck.

Wow, thanks for the heads up. I wish more 04-08 owners would dyno their trucks. I like charts

Even with viewing a dyno-graph you really can not be 100% positive of the results unless you are acutally there and observe the pulls. Not saying this or any other graphs posted are not acurate, but there are several ways you can "adjust" if you will, the dyno to increase the numbers. Different settings can produce many varied results....
