What is wrong with my Gryphon?

I've had the Gryphon installed in my truck for a little over a week now and noticed it is shutting itself off. I first disconnected/reconnected the unit and that worked for a few days. Now on a daily basis it shuts off and then powers itself up withing 3-4 minutes with a -173 on the display..Then it goes night night again.

I would appreciate any help plz...

thanks.......

Cable problems perhaps? It's a known problem on the older units - don't know which one you have ...

Contact PHP - ASAP....
