But he likes to tune the sc'd trucks live.

But the 97-03 edge units cannot be upgraded any more.
So.........
Try to sell the edge in the classifieds.
Take that money and put it towards an SCT device from VMP or JDM.

Or...
keep the edge and use it as a "gauge only" while the other tune from the new programmer is loaded.
Hm.. I guess I will have to get me a SCT then. Hopefully I can get it tuned quickly.

I think that is Cajun for "you must have a custom tune if you have a supercharger".

Carolinaboy - YOUR Edge CAN be "converted". It's the pre-04 truck models that are not going to be converted anymore.

As far as calling them, just keep trying. They're extremely busy and it's hard to get through.

I would have it dyno tuned at a reputable performance shop.

Thats what I have been looking into doing, and jerame pointed me in the direction of a place called Murillo sports to do that. I just called them, and they say that I would need to either 1.) get a tuner capable of uploading their dyno tune (either through buying one of theirs or buying a chip from them) OR 2.) go buy a tuner and have it when I take the truck to be dyno tuned. They did mention that the edge wouldn't work for anything though.

If you are going to use Murillo or a place like that for a real dyno tune, for best results and support I would buy the programmer from them.

Should've asked them when you were talking to to them on the phone.

Edit.
Found it.

All depends on their rates.
