Well, I have a 98 f150 with a 4.6 and its procharged. I have an edge which is now useless, but I want to get it tuned. I have been searching everywhere to find a place to get it dyno tuned, but I can't find anywhere. I am located in San Antonio, TX if that helps any. If I cant find a place to get it dyno tuned, what else do I need to buy or who do I need to talk to? Guidance pwease

 

What's wrong with your Edge?

 

Well, I have been told that you can not used the canned tunes on the edge alongside with a supercharger. And I dont know anything about the edge other than how to use it. I guess someone could overwrite a tune in it or something, but idk . I might have to buy a different tuner?

 

what if you change it to a gyphon?? Wouldn't Bill & cory @ PHP be able to do something about that

oh wow I didn't know that. I'm having a hell of a time trying to get them to contact me about my custom tune. I don't know what's going on over there

 

I hear they are pretty busy! Theres alot of people waiting on tunes.

This you can not, I wanted to take this way out too in my SC'd Harley but you can only get a custom tune if your trucks supercharged.

Dang! IDK where to get this stuff done. All I know about tuners is that the edge looked cool in the little pod thing. Now I cant even use that become of the triple guage pod pillar thing.
I have not contacted SCT! Would they be able to make tunes for me from a distance? I thought that the person that tuned it would have to actually be able to see how the truck was running if its supercharged. I dont know though

I literally just made a post about my uncle who lives there *New Braunfels* He's a state trooper and knows tons of people over there. He's also big into the truck scene. So i'll give him a holler tomorrow and ask him if he knows of any tuners or can find out about one for you.

I'm not speaking for Bill@PHP in any ways now.
But he likes to tune the sc'd trucks live.

But the 97-03 edge units cannot be upgraded any more.
So.........
Try to sell the edge in the classifieds.
Take that money and put it towards an SCT device from VMP or JDM.

Or...
keep the edge and use it as a "gauge only" while the other tune from the new programmer is loaded.
