Edge EVO Problem - Had to have a re-flash, need help!

Took my 2006 F-150 to the dealer today to fix an engine problem. Forgot to return my Edge back to stock before going so I started doing it in the dealer's shop. Halfway through reprogramming to stock, the service tech jumps in an turns the key off. I turn the key back on and the Edge says the truck is back to stock, but the truck won't start, won't go back to tune #2, etc. The only thing I knew to do was ask the dealer to re-flash the truck's ECU. He did this and the truck will now start.

However, when I got the truck back, the Edge was not plugged in. I plugged it back in and it now says it is on tune #1. I am afraid to reprogram back to stock anticipating that it won't start again since it has a corrupt stock tune in it, or at least I think it does. The computer software won't let me update the EVO with it programmed to tune #1.

Is it okay to go ahead and reprogram to stock or do I need to somehow download a stock tune for the EVO? Thanks in advance for your help!

I would wait until Tuesday and call Edge.

At this point, I'd be afraid if you tried to program the truck you'd end up with a no start condition.

WTF?
I would've done something to that tech and it wouldn't have been pretty.

Don't try any additional programming until you get this straightened out with edge.

I probably should have informed him I was doing this beforehand, but I didn't think he would go in my truck and turn it off! The good part is he didn't charge for the re-flash and took an hour labor off my other fixes.

I will contact Edge before attempting any further reprogramming. Thanks guys for your help on this!

What really is starting to bug me regarding the 5.4 engine is the cost involved in replacing spark plugs and coils. I had to replace all eight about three months ago and now had to replace two yesterday. All in all, this cost me about $1,000. I want a new truck, but there is no way I am going to buy another 5.4 engine. I will simply wait for the 2011.
