XCal 2 - Flash Proccess?

Well I seem to get the jest of the flashing process down, im not new to flashing over things (I'm a computer geek :P... flashed many a BIOS before, same exact concept)...... Only I recall being told that with my year of truck (1997) that there is one other VITAL step involving pulling a plug or fuse, that failing to do so could result in a corrupt flash. Anyone have some insight on this, which fuse and why?

IIRC it's the fuel pump relay or module.

It's not in your SCT manual?

Edit:

Found it! http://www.sctflash.com/PDF/XCal2Manual.pdf

Program Vehicle Menu:
First disconnect the fuel pump and electric fan fuses.

Thanks Shotgunz, I noticed that but I recall being told that with the 97' and some 98's that there was someone else or specific that had to be done as a precaution to make sure the battery didn't drain itself during the flash process that didn't have to be done on the newer trucks... hmmmm

You can easily eliminate any potential (of low voltage) by using a small battery tender (low output charger) during the process.
