Troyer Experiences... Thus Far
"Answering phones" is sort of demeaning for all the technical support staff at SCT, don't ya think? Most of these guys know more than half the tuners in the country. Who do you think bails out tuners when they get in over their heads, trains them on the software, teach them how to tune new programming strategies and help troubleshoot their issues? They even answer mundane questions from customers trying to load firmware updates or simply loading tunes or hardware issues. I wouldn't be afraid to use any of SCT's senior technical support staff that went out on their own. I started tuning when all of this stuff was being hacked by some of the major players in the game today. I've been using SCT's stuff since 2003 and their technical and customer support is top notch.
well you're still answering a phone so there's no way around that. Taking a note from Dave Chappelle, a master of the custodial arts is still a damn janitor. Not knocking the SCT guys but there is a difference between answering the phones and making a business out of it tuning. You've got to have more resources to do that so kudos to those who can.
ha, don't be mad cause he on your truck man. Not everyone has the money to do it right so it's okay to hate.

I usually wouldn't interject in a situation like this... but, seriously guys, grow up. Who gives a damn, the guy might be the most crooked thing since Kim Jong Il..... As long as he can tune my truck and isn't a ***** to me, I don't care. That said, if you guys don't have anything more constructive to add to the conversation, then start your own thread regarding how much the other is wrong. You both claim to not want to start a "Tuner War".... then don't.
I do appreciate both of your opinions, but i can weed through the info at my own leisure and determine what is most likely BS.... The truth almost always lies in the middle though.

Who makes more power?
Who has been been putting out over 400rwhp for several years?
Who has over 400rwhp?
That's me...
Until you can run a faster time, you can't talk.
And don't start making excuses.
You just follow troyer in your 380hp 14.3 second truck, and I'll keep doing what I'm doing in my 400+rwhp 12.7 second truck.

you're funny fatherford. You've always been a Troyer hater and I wasn't going to respond but you act like I'm stuck at 380rwhp, ha. Just decided to put my money into the Cobra which would rape your truck and my ZX6 636 sportbike which would also rape your truck and then get together and gang bang your truck. Did I mention my truck is under warranty with 26K miles? Why do something stupid like violating my warranty from the factory and Roush when you only make a few more rwhp than my 8psi truck, lol. All it would take is a pulley swap and I'm making what you are if not more, it also appears you have a reg cab vs my extended cab. So while you may have a faster truck, I have a newer/better one and its almost as quick as yours and with a warranty. You're probably one of those guys that runs slicks and removes headrest/spare tire to drop weight for your run times and does a 7K rpm launch. I run the track like I run the street my tires don't even see the burn box and I don't even touch the gas until the tree turns green cause I like keeping my vehicles in shape. Do you think if we came up on the street you could take me? You won't have slicks and won't have time to drop weight so what will you do? So yeah you can take my 1 day out of the yr I hit the track but the street is what I gear my setups for and where 98% of my driving counts. No excuses here, I still have a nicer and comparable truck with better vehicles in my garage. Nice try though and should I even mention my Cobra and ZX6R 636 sport bike I actually have way more modified than the truck? Gotta have more than one fast vehicle in your garage to hang with me.

For the record, I have ran 12.9 on street tires with my head rest, leaving off idle, and my spare in my bed.

It's painfully obvious you have no idea what you are talking about, and now I and many others understand why you blindly follow someone.
For the record, I have never said Troyer is a bad tuner. Hell if I lived closer to him I would most likely go to him. I plan on buying his fuel setup even. It's just I don't hold any tuner to a "god" like status you do and in the performance automotive world, fan boys such as you are laughed at repeatably.
So to cap this off, you are slower and make less power, tried to strut your stuff with your other vehicles, and I slapped you down there. Came up with several excuses on why you are slower, and completely showed your automotive ignorance with your comments... I mean really how on earth do you think I'm leaving the line at 7000rpm?

man you just keep at it, you can't stand someone not buying into your beliefs. I might like Troyer but I don't talk as much **** as you seem too be doing. So you got a Viper and 4 thousands mustangs sitting in your garage? You are so ****ing awesome I can't even rap my mind around it, man you could be full of such **** and I wouldn't even know it or care. I'll never meet you and you must have missed a lot of the sarcasm in my previous post. You win Fatherford, you're the man but just remember anyone can take a picture in front of a fancy car so you can't expect me to believe any of your BS you've said here today about your rides cause you can't really prove it to me unless you take a picture of the title with your name on it. And if your Saleen blower is a twin screw then yeah you got my Roush beat but that's even worse for a twin screw tuned safely to be barely better than my Roush being tuned safely so I wouldn't brag about that. Blindly follow someone? You're a idiot, Troyer built the my truck with the products he recommended cause it was proven power gains and Roush's warranty went hand in hand with my trucks and he only built the rear end in my Cobra. I've owned 3 other F150's prior to that and have tested so many other products and researched twice as much so the only thing blind around here is you sir. You're very smart on F150's from what I've read over the years so stop making yourself look dumb on this thread, you didn't even get my sarcasm or maybe I caught you red handed about removing your headrest? It's a joke...jeez. Get over yourself and if I do decide to upgrade the truck even more I'll make sure to get your approval first.

Just 3 other F-150's?
I really just don't know what to say anymore....I honestly can't.
