I'm sorry, an error code F4.3 doesn't ring any bells at all. When it's plugged into your truck, does it show the tune level is at zero (little black "0" in the upper right corner of the screen)?

I't possible this is an older unit that needs to be updated with Edge's "Fusion" software that you can download from their website.

You DO have thie ignition ON (with the engine off) when you plug it in, right?

And, is this a unit that is compatible with 04-08 trucks? (I think yours is in this range, right?) A model designed for a pre-04 truck will not work on the newer trucks - period.

If you can't figure out what is wrong, and the previous owner can't help you, call Edge tech support. They WILL probably have some ideas.

I think it was out of a 2005 and my truck is a 2006. He said it was set back to normal. There is no 0. When you plug it in the warning comes on the you hit enter then it takes you to the main menu page. Then when you pick the level you want this message comes up.

This does NOT sound like the unit is at "stock". If it were, when you plug it in to the OBDII port with the ignition ON, you should see your truck's "HEX" code. When you hit [Enter] to get past that screen, you should be looking at the "Display" screen, not the "Menu" screen.

I think I'd get the guy you bought it from to prove to you that his truck is at stock. Edge CAN return the unit to stock if that is impossible though. I think it will cost about $75 for them to do this.

One more thought though - when you find yourself looking at the "menu" screen, if you hit [Menu], it should back you out and put you at the "display" screen. Again, if this doesn't work, call Edge or talk to the guy you bought the unit from.
