VAG-COM for the Fords

Well this is kind of an off topic question, but is the a program such as VAG-COM for the Ford vehicles.

VAG-COM is made by Ross Tech, and the first person I saw using it was a friend of mine with a 2007/8 VW Passat, and by connecting USB->that port under your steering wheel, he was able to control the shifting speed(tiptronic), and some other variables.

Just a thought, as I am interested to see what you could do with a 1998 F150 supercab.

Thanks,
-Tyler

I don't think you're being ignored, but I've never heard of this and I suspect that's the situation with other members too.

Diagnostic Software for European Automobiles

Application list only shows VW and Audi.

Not too much of a stretch to say it won't do anything for a Ford.

Yea, I wish they made it for Fords. It'd make the Bambi mod, windows up/down with keyless transponder, lock/unlock when in park, aim headlights, etc, possible with just a couple clicks of a computer.

VAG-COM is a great diagnotic tool. Too bad is just VW's and Audis, hence the VAG in vag-com stands for VW Audi Group, the North American sunsidiary of VW. I just use my SF from SCt to scan for codes.
