Few question....
Few question....
Ok so i have a 2004 ford f150 5.4 Fx4 35x12.50x18 toyo oc mt's, i now have a almost full tank of regular gas... 80 something octane w/e it is, im wondering if i can add a bottle of the octane booster so i can run it in performance 3 tune? or should i wait and fill up with supreme? also will i see any "impressive" gains running it in level 3 coming from level 3

Use Torco ($$$), or, just drain till the low fuel light comes on, then fill with yer hi-octane fuel, that the tune is spec'd for.
The bolded text you posted makes not a lick of sense, btw ...
Gain will not be impressive - not on a canned tune, stock truck with 35's and stock gearing - sorry...still gonna be a dog ...

You may - but folks with Edges indicate that Level 2's low-end torque, when coupled with an appropriate timing bump and 91+octane ( see the manual) is a good bet ...
I'm a 100% with MGDfan on this - stay away from the octane booster crap. Not only does it not really boost octane that much (you'd need many more bottles than the packaging suggests), but it adds "power reducing" compounds to your fuel.
If you want to try your truck with the high priced stuff, drain your tank to almost empty, then fill with 91 or 93 (whatever's available in your area). Drive the truck home to purge the gas lines and then try changing to Level 3. Try that out and compare it to Level 2 with the timing increased 2 degrees for 91 octane (or 3 degrees for 93 octane). See which one you like best, and, if it's worth the additional cost to use the pricey stuff, by comparing these results to running the truck with 87 octane and an 87 octane tune.
