I agree, it COULD be a bad cable, but that doesn't look like a valid hex code to me either. Are you sure it's all letters? I think the 5th and 7th characters should be numbers.

And, back to your original post. When you were trying to program your truck, after you selected the program to load, did you turn your ignition key OFF, then back to ON? (This is how you initiate the programming sequence).

yeah i did everything by the book...it kept having me turn the key on and off and just wouldn't stop. It got stuck on the turn key on screen for over an hour so i just unplugged it. I tried again and it did the same thing except getting stuck. I called edge and sent it to them. They said they would test the unit and cable and would send it back to me in working condition.
