Another edge question. quick reply appreciated!

About how long does it take the Edge to program the computer? The instructions say it will take "several minutes" but the screen has said
"Turn Key On
Do Not Start Engine"
for 40 minutes now

Once you have entered everything and hit enter for the last time, about a minute.

You plugged it in, hit menu it gave your your HEX and you hit menu again?

yep..:o
ugh...i have a strong feeling the seller's reason for selling wasn't because he bought a supercharger. He never answered any emails after taking my money and took almost 3 weeks getting it here.

Well, at this point, you may be damned if you do and damned if you don't. Do you know for sure that you have a strong battery? I'm thinking one of 2 things. It has frozen because you don't have a fully charged battery or the cable may be bad.

Either way, it may be a problem when you unplug it. Your PCM may be locked

I don't think you have any choice but to turn the key off, unplug it, and try to start.

The truck's HEX file:
ODALINE.HEX

Press <Enter>

And I plugged it back in...it says I'm running the "0" (stock) tune.

You may have a bad cable.
At least the previous owner set his truck back to stock before selling it to you.
Try to give edge a call and see if you can get a new cable.
