Fixin to order edge...

Just wanted to know is it worth the money? It will be goin on my 02 5.4 with 35's 3:73 gears with a shift kit, just wondering is it gonna do much for my application? Mainly wanting a bit better mpg.

why not get a PHP gryphon instead? same price, more features.

Would have to agree... with the shift kit you may want to look at a custom tune. and the gryphon would be a better choice. I dont think you would get anymore than 1mpg out of the Canned Edge stuff with 35's

If that - with any tuner ....

Agree - the tuner will allow you to 'tailor' the shift kits' characteristics some ...

And, I think with the shift kit you DO want custom tunes. The canned tunes in any programmer are not set up for the changes a shift kit will provide. They may give you "too much of a good thing", which could possibly lead to long term damage. And, if I'm wrong, someone will correct me.

You are right.

Its hard to determine where canned tunes actually set the pressure/firmness at.
