I've been using their software and programmers since 2002. They have great customer support and are the cutting edge in the tuning game as far as I'm concerned.

cost
Thank you everyone for your imput. One last thing the shop I am going to will set it up for me. They will also do a before and after hp dyno pull at a cost of 700.00 am I taking it in the shorts forthat price?

These things are approx $400 including 3 custom tunes. That's $300 extra for 2 pulls, after getting your money for the hardware? And - what if additional pulls are required to dial it in? Are they gonna charge extra for that? Find out first.
If you are anywhere remotely close to a good tuner for their dyno days, you can do much better than that.
Keep in mind - mail order tune(s) can be pretty much 100% on a stock truck - just FYI ...

I live way too far in the Middle east and I got my SCT from US for 399 , Truck is super fine and nothing's wrong...
Without a doubt! Even if he's not local, a custom tune from VMP would probably end up better than most 'local' shops. Realistically there are only maybe a handful of tuners out there that are top notch.
