This was quoted back in 09-2010, here it is mid-January, 2011 and you all still cannot find the correct strategies for my 2010 4.6l 2v?! WHEN can I expect this? This has been going on for over TWO months!

I just spoke with the engineer about this and he said the 09-10 4.6L 2V is supported.

Read the vehicles stock files with the programmer and then update it online.

Keep me informed on how it goes.

Problem is according to your engineers and my shop, they cannot "code" my truck. It has never been installed due to "errors" on the flashpaq and you all do not know what to do about it. Is getting very frustrating after a a couple of months taking my truck there every week or so and not getting it to program because of the strategies.

Were you ever asked to have the dealership reflash your PCM and TCM to a more recent set of calibrations?

PM me some info on yourself, your vehicle including vin, and your tuner SN and I will look into thsi personally for you.

Sorry to the OP, I don't want to Hijack the thread but while Scott is here I have a question for him.

What would the graphs look like for an 89 and a 91 torque tune? Is it possible?

Thanks

Sorry about that Phil, the site didn't email me that you had posted a comment there for some reason.

I replied to your info. Hopefully what I posted helps.

We don't actually have an 89 tune but we do offer an 87 and 91 tune.

Here are the Dyno plots for those:

Any questions let me know.

Looking at those charts, it looks to me like 87 octane is still the plan.
Must be something about the combustion chamber that just doesn't really take a lot of advantage of higher octane fuel?

It was the same story with my 07 5.4 FX4. Get best gas mileage with it too.

Scott are both the 87 and 91 able to tow 5000lbs? or just 87?

Thanks for posting the graphs. I am getting ready to purchase a superchip so they help out big time to determine which setting to select
