Just wondering

QUICK QUESTION
I finally got my spedo deadnut with my gps question is does it matter how far off the actual tire size is. to what i put in the edge i beleive tire size for 275/65-20 was 2631 but i'm using 2530 and it's dead on only reason i ask is i'm still getting a rough shift on normal acceleration on 2-3 all others are good. when i do go wot they all snap good which is ok but just taking off from a stop light that 2-3 shifts seems abit harsh what else can i try

Not sure where the rough shift is coming from, perhaps someone else had the same problem. BUT, I am getting my gryphon soon and have had an edge for awhile and I did the same thing. Kept adjusting the tire size to get GPS deadnut. I was off about 65 mm in size. Keep in mind that as tire wears, you may need to adjust again.

You might try adjusting the part throttle 2-3 shift a bit in either direction. Also, maybe the 3rd gear TC lock/unlock points? Just experiment - I have no real suggestions and this can't hurt anything.

Well the reason the mm's are different is because thats the squish factor. Its usually best to deduct 3-5% for squish to get the speedo close.

I'm not sure why you would have a hard shift...Because the edge shouldn't apply any firmness for normal shifting. Unless it is just shifting at higher rpms.
