Exclamation Just installed my Edge Evolution

I love that thing. But I have some questions. What level should I keep it on while daily driving and is there any place on the web that will give me tuning levels that work really good? Like a place that gives tune levels of everything on the programmer so I know how exactly I should program it. Thanks.

I preferred Level 3. The better mpg paid for the cost difference and I hated the way level 2 ran out of steam when I needed to pass. I put about 31,000 miles on level 3 before going to custom tunes. Look in the Tuner Section, there are threads on the settings people use.

haha thanks. but will running on level 2 make gas milage the best when I'm just going normal speed? I saw on the programmer instructions there was a * next to saves mpg because its based off of how the driver drives or whatever. how would i get best mpg but still have that power when i want it?

Not really. I hated level 2, so let someone else advise you. Level 2 is great for towing, which I seldom do, and it is doo for red light to red light. For Freeway and 2 lane roads, which I drive a lot, it sucks. Try them both and see which suits your needs. I still have level 2 for when I need to two, but now have an 87 Perf and a 93 Perf from PHP.

Additionally, I got about 11% better mpg with level 3, so there was absolutely no reason to run level 2 for me. I now run a custom 87 Perf that is as good as, no, better than level 3 and I save the difference in fuel cost.

I preferred the level 3 also. Running with level 2 made it seem like the truck had more power around town because of more torque (towing setting), but the mileage took a hit. I got about 12 mpg on level 2 and 14 on level 3, but this was a 4x4 SC on 33's.

Yeah I got 12.4 on level 2 and I'm currently getting 15.5-16 on level 3.

Yes, it really tails off over 1800 rpms. Level 3 will pull till you let off.

Haha damn me and you are in the same boat! I have 1/4 tank too and I'm trying to gun it everywhere (even in the rain), so I can put in 91 octane too LOL
