Talking Finally Got my Gryphon!!!!!!!

Got my Gryphon installed today on my 04 Heritage 4.6 4x4. Had a little programming issue, but Bill was awesome to work with and got it fixed in no time. I have all custom tunes, 87 perf, 87 tow, 91 perf. I loaded the 87 perf and all I can say is !!!!! The difference is unbelievable! As soon as you hit it, it goes. I mean, I know its only a 4.6, but it is a huge improvement over stock. Now I want more power!! I see this quickly becoming an addiction....

I think if I remember right there were programmer issues or miscommunication of what his truck was. Remember his truck is a 04H, an "orphan" between the body style and pcm switch.

The canned tunes won't work on a Heritage Edition, so he needed custom tunes.

So, we were having a few issues with the programming. It started having some issues just after that first post. But, with the help of Bill, we got it all worked out and she's running better than ever!! I tested it out with the stock programming and got a 0-60mph of 8.2 sec and 1/4 mile of 16.74 @ 81.4mph. This is with everything stock except muffler replaced with SIDO Maggie w/ 3.5" tips Lightning Style, GOTTS Intake Mod, Silencer removed, and an OE replacement K&N. I then loaded up the Custom 87 Octane Performance Tune. She then put down a 0-60mph of 7.87 sec and 1/4 mile of 16.45 @ 84mph. During one run I hit just over 85mph, but this was my fastest ET. I haven't yet adjusted the shift points or firmness, any suggestions with that? Final word, I am now a true believer in Bill's work and would ABSOLUTELY recommend him to anyone!!!!

You COULD edit your post, you know! It would make things a bit more clear. And, you could then edit this one to say you've done that. No foul in correcting mistakes. (I find I have to do it quite often)! :o
