I have a 2007 FX4 Screw, I am looking to put a 2" Autospring leveling kit, 1.5" AAL, MBRP Exhaust, "Gott's" style CAI, and then throwing BFG 285/65R20 on my truck. Now I have heard many good things about the Edge Evo's but I have heard so many things about custom tuning from PHP... I don't do a lot of towing and want it to save some gas and have some bite off the line.... What would ya'll recommend - Edge Evolution or custom tunes (Gryphon PHP)? Money is kind of an issue... just to throw that out there....

You'll get better performance and economy out of custom tunes with the Gryphon. The additional cost is minimal. I'd go for the Gryphon.

what kind of maintainence will i have to do to keep the gryphon updated? I have looked at PHP's site and I am guessing I can get updates from their Downloads section and then just upload it to the programmer and away we go.... I assume?

This is a stupid question, but how does the programmer install? I know the edge has the "pod" but where are the cables, where do they go, plug in? I am a huge newb and I apologize
