oh ok, well mine is set at 700 right now. I tried to bump it up to 800 yesterday by setting the programmer to 100 and the rough idle thing happened again. I bought my truck used so I'm wondering if it was already chipped and now im screwing things up. When I get home from work I'll try to set it to 750 and see what happens. Is there any way to see if my truck has been chipped before? Thanks Bluejay

make sure you do the adjustment correctly. If I recall, your adjustment adjusts the default. So if when you select the Idle and hit enter and it reads 500, that is your beginning point. you plus it from the default number. Hope that makes sense.

So what you are saying is that if the default is set at 700 and i go to idle setting and enter 50 then the idle will be 750 right?

I just changed the tire size, gears, and shift firmness and I don't have the problem. I hope my custom tunes solve this problem but we will see. I would be interested to hear what you find out.
Alright grizzstang i figured my problem out. After the unit says Programming Complete, I would press the menu button before i started my truck because I'm stupid haha. Anyways I set the adjustments and this time i turned the key off and then started it. Everything ran fine with no problems. I guess I just had an ocd issue with seeing the menu display after programming hahaha. hope that helps
