A certified Edge dealer shouldn't be selling it for less than $399!

Groovy's just given you the true answer here. Find one for $100? Buy it! But, don't complain when it doesn't work. (You get what you pay for).

the cheapest way would probably be off ebay, that is what I did. It helps if they return their truck to stock before they get it to you though. Then you don't have to pay to get it to work for your vehicle. Then get it to PHP for an upgrade if you want custom tunes.

IF you trust the ebay seller! I bought mine that way and I talked with him before I bid on it. He seemed ok, so I took the chance. (And it wasn't some "too good to be true" price, either).

I bought mine off a member of this board for a very reasonable price. It's a newer unit, less than a year old, and Im just about to send payment. This guy was so trusting in me that he sent it to me to try out first, without paying. If I didn't like it I could just send it back. I can't lose, and I'm very appreciative of that.
Other than that, the cheapest brand new units I saw were Autoanything and a couple of sellers on eBay selling them for 359 with free shipping.

Not sure about the '03 but for my '04 NBS 5.4 I got an Evo for $360 with free overnight UPS. It's guaranteed and it worked for me, that's about as plain and simple as it gets.
