Gryphon Pods?

Does anybody have one and use the pod?

Does it block the defrost vent?

It doesn't block anything on my 2005 - fits like a glove with no additional help from velcro, sticky tape or anything. I think it will fit about the same on a pre-2004 truck.

Several of the pictures on the PHP website are of my pod on the dash.

The previous generation kind of hangs off of the pillar IIRC. So it should be out of the way.

On the 97-04 there is a defrost vent on top of the dash for the side windows. The pod for the 04+ NBS will block them. Unless the pods for the older trucks are different or mount in a different place.

No, they don't block the vent. Mine is a 2000 (same as yours), and the pod has louvers in it for the air to still get to the drivers side window.

But it still blocks it. Yeah it will let some out but not nearly as much as it would if the pod wasn't there. But its not really that big of a deal

It definitely does not block the vent.

The pre-2004 trucks have a different vent configuration, last5oh. I guess their defog vent is not on the pillar like ours.

Hi J&J,
I was just correcting 97XL.

Here's 97-03. Is there a vent under the pod for those MY's?
