Cheap Chips

Hi I am a student with a 2002 150 with the 4.6, I don't get the best miliage so I was looking for ways to cure this. I was wondering if a chip would help my gas mileage much. The chip that I am looking at is this one, I figure that since it wont set me out that much I wouldn't be loosing out that much but I dont want it to cause any damage to the engine.

Thanks

Sorry, those things are a fraud, you would be better off spending that money on gas.

Things like these have been around as long as Bluejay and I have been driving, which is a LONG time! I "fell" for a "fuel atomizer" in my youth - didn't do any damage, to anything but my wallet, but didn't do anything else either. Looked sort of stupid in the fuel line up near the carburetor.

It took me a while to learn that if something is cheap, be just a little suspicious. But, if something is expensive, you can be suspicious too! Asking questions, like you did, usually sets you on the right path.

Get rid of the fat chick. 250 lbs is a lot of weight to haul.

^ completely agree... for every few hundred (around 400 or so i think) pounds, you lose 1 mpg... not sure on the weight but that was true for the I6 engine i had in my jeep anyway...

get rid of extra weight... go on a diet, or empty your bed when your not using it
