We would like to announce that as of Monday, November, 10, we are offering the Gryphon with a new price structure. We realize that -- especially in this economy -- some customers may not need three custom tunes, and we are pleased to offer the Gryphon with fewer custom tunes at a lower price. Corey - that's a great idea!
I never could understand the value of three tunes. Two makes sense, if you tow like I do, but if not, why not just one?
Maybe though - some folks would like economy for just getting around but the option of "performance" when they wanted to impress the ladies.
I feel certain this will help your business, and, help your customers too.

Thanks, Guys, for the feedback. After several requests, we realized that some people would like to buy a Gryphon with stock tunes -- and have the option later on to customize it -- instead of purchasing an Evo and upgrading it. We also realized that some customers really only needed two custom tunes but were choosing the third tune because it was part of the package. Fewer tunes means a savings for the customers, which is cool.
It also frees up Bill's time to work on other customers' tunes. 
Thanks for taking the time with your kind thoughts and words. We really appreciate it, and it's nice to hear that it was a good choice for us to make.

A couple of things...
After spending hours on a new custom order form, Adobe corrupted my file as I tried to save it, so I'll be working on that AGAIN tomorrow and during the week. Any questions about how to order the Gryphon can be answered with a phone call!
Also, I wanted to mention that we will still offer our customers time to use their custom tunes. We've actually decided to extend it to a year because in this economy, many of us have to make major purchases a little at a time. As Billy pointed out to me a bit ago, "Nobody has $1,000 to drop on mods and a programmer at the same time anymore." And he's right. It's a bit more paperwork on my end tracking it all, but it's the fair thing to do.
We will be out of the office sporadically this week. If you can't get ahold of us, leave a message or an e-mail.

Unfortunately, that's the problem with trying to decide on pricing restructure. I understand your situation and I certainly sympathize. All I can offer is that if we'd had any idea at the time you ordered that we were going to restructure the pricing, then we would have been up front with you and told you to wait on your order until it was finalized. I hope you understand.

I doubt people are TOO upset, Bill. Heck, if you "refunded" money to someone who ordered one day before the new prices, then someone ordering two days early would want it too, and ....
But what if you ever have to increase prices? Would people be wishing they had known so they could have waited to "pay more"?
This is one of those times when a "fixed cutoff" is the only thing that makes sense. And, as "old" customers find they have new tuning needs, they'll still benefit.

off topic question but instead of starting a new thread
i get my gryphon tomorrow and i forgot to mention to corey that i have one of those fitch fuel catalyst things.
idk if it really made a difference or not, seems like maybe .5 mpg or so but it is supposed to boost the octane.
should i just remove it or will it be ok?

I would imagine as long as the tune is "canned" and not customized for the Fitch, then it should work normally; if they really do seem to boost the octane, then the truck could possibly run a higher octane program with lower octane fuel. I was wondering this too because I am trying to get a Fitch on the cheap from the inventor's son that I go to school with. He swears by it, of course he would. I am not arguing the ability or actual Fitch unit itself, but on the safe side w/o a dyno tune, I would say pretend it isn't there and hope it still nets good fuel mileage. I hope my rambling makes sense or gives you an idea.
As far as the Fitch goes, it shouldn't have any significant effect on tuning, whether it's custom or not. Anything that would cause a relative increase in octane is good.
I must admit I'm not quote up on exactly what the Fitch is, but I guess I need to take a closer look.
