contact us

there you go. also, this thread talks about your odo problem. if the speedo is working, and the tranny is shifting at the "normal" speeds, then the gryphon should fit your needs.

Dang, Sharpshooter - you're fast! (or maybe I'm just getting old and slow).

this is what bill has told me...

As for economy, the programmer will still be able to accurately calculate it since it pulls the vehicle speed data directly from the PCM. Of course, the accuracy is dependent on whether or not the tires size is stock. This bring up the next question...

Since the programmer reads the vehicle speed from the PCM, it is going to display the same inaccurate speed that you see on the speedometer. There is unfortunately no way to adjust that with our programmer on your model year truck.

are you sure thats what bill said? he specifically told me that "it would not be a problem" to re-write the code for the gryphon so that it would display the correct speed. now, im not really sure how to download the newest firmware from bill, but he said thats what he would do.

that is copied and pasted straight from the email he sent me. but he also told me that by me getting 4.88 gears, it would be almost back to stock...like 2.5% off...thats no big deal so i am not even gonna worry with it any more. but i still gotta figure out why my odometer doesnt work.
