FYI: As bad as the fuel mileage is on my new Screw F150, it is still better than my neighbor's 2004 Land Rover Discovery which averages only 12 mpg...

Well actually, if he had it running, which he'd have to for a means to power the system, he would be getting 0MPG since he's not moving.

This is the best advice if you are really interested in saving money. The modifications that will add mileage aren't going to pay for themselves for YEARS. If you want power with a little bit of a mileage gain than the best mods to start with are a programmer like the Xcal3 with custom tunes, a cai, and exhaust system.

Get a Magnaflow muffler/exhaust system and you exhaust will flow better, therefor increasing mpg minimally. I went from 15.3 to 16.2, this also includes increasing my PSI to 40 all around from 35.

About as many times as "What's the best tuner?" There is plenty of information on this subject if people would search.

As a side note I found that I can get better gas mileage if I get the truck up to 45 mph and OD with the torque converter locked ASAP. When reading the "Instant MPG" on the DashHawk I realized I was only getting 4-6 MPG no matter how gingerly I pressed on the pedal. Yeah, don't floor it, but drive normally up to speed and coast in OD as much as possible is my technique.

Gas saver? Hmmm... There's a lot.. Some says that Toyota Corolla is the best gas saver sedan but I think it's not. For me anything with a diesel option will do. Diesel engines last TWICE as long as gas does.
