VMP Tune on its way, anyone have any videos?

I've got a Troyer tune right now, but am waiting on my VMP tune, does anyone have any videos of their F150's with VMP tuning? Thanks

No videos, but I can tell you that you will love the new tune. What was the reason for the switch?

WilsonXXX, you need to report back and see if your VMP tune got rid of that 'dead spot' at about 40 MPH when you punch it.

It bothers the pizz out of me and my Troyer tunes have the same problem. Im curious to see if VMP got rid of this problem or not.

Ive about been thinking of ordering a tune from him. For 50 bucks, why not?

didnt fix mine and no tune really will fix that completely the problem is that at that speed the computer doesnt down shift to first, im going to have justin try to adjust my shift points so that it will down shift even if it would put the rpm's at like 5000 also with around 70ish the same thing, if i step on it it will go into 3rd but i could manually put it into 2nd and back into drive and it would staay in 2nd untill it got to the shift point at 5250

I'm trying VMP tuning because while I was satisfied with the Troyer tuning for the most part, I don't have any bottom end. So hell, it's only $60, I might like the VMP tuning more.

I'll leave a full review when I receive the tuning, hopefully soon :]

The dead spot at 40 drives me nuts, but its just because at that speed in 2nd gear, our RPM's are too low to make any real power, especially with a Troyer tune. I think my truck makes less power below 3k RPM with the Troyer 91 tune than it did stock, over 3k is a different story.

Question

What's the "dead" spot that you guys are talking about? I do notice some sort of "jerk" at around 40mph under full acceleration sometimes, is this the same issue you guys have? (is this a serious issue, as I rarely ever stomp down on it?)

One other thing I'm gonna look into in the next couple days in my idle while in gear. When I'm in gear and at a complete stop or slow roll with no gas my truck sometimes humms in the front end.. and quickly goes away with a little gas. The issue is isolated only while in Drive. It's fine with Park, and Nuetral, so I'm going to assume it's an issue with the idling revs?

While in gear and braked, my truck idles near 600-700rpms.. compared to 800rpms or so while in nuetral. Any ideas how to fix the humming noise, is there a way to set the idle while in gear a little higher?

The dead spot I'm referring to is anywhere around 40-45, when downshifting to accelerate, it takes a long while and bogs with almost no passing power.

All 4 04-08 F150's I've been in has the same problem, including the 2 that I test drove at the dealer. The salesman couldn't offer a solution when it happened, he said it's just how the truck works.

Tune is here, I'm at work though so I wont get to try it until tonight when I get home. I'll leave a report, and a troyer vs vmp comparison.
