How do i do that? I don't feel like waiting forever just to get them. Are they worth the wait?

You can now get a Gryphon, which is the same thing as an Edge, but comes with custom tunes. It is shipped right away with canned tunes, and then you order the custom tunes to fit your vehicle. You can check it out at www.powerhungryperformance.com. Bill and Corey are great to work with. I would choose this over the Edge. Same hardware, but with custom tunes.

VMP Tuning only takes a few weeks, it'd be very much worth the wait.

My opinion might not be as merited as someone who has had their own Edge for months or years (considering I've only had mine for a day, lol) but I can tell you this... I've been researching, manufacturers websites, forums, consumer reviews, talked to programmers, engineers, mechanics etc. By far the best I've heard and learned has been that the Edge is the route to go and by all means go with a Gryphon or send your Edge Evo to Bill at PHP. I've talked via email with them (don't want to bother them on the phone while they're swamped) and they've treated me like their #1 customer before I've even purchased the first item from them. I'm impressed with what I've learned, and that's certainly why I purchased and Edge. Going to visit Bill soon!

get an edge or a gryphon. if you want custom tunes. get the gryphon. if you dont, you can save a little money and get an edge. i got an edge, because i didnt feel like having a gryphon shipped at the time, and they were swamped with custom tunes. I plan on up grading to one in the future though.

If you have to get gauges don't waste your time with the Edge, get the Gryphon but than you're still waiting so you might as well get the Xcal2. I had an Edge and I had a ton of problems with it. I ended up buying a custom tuned Xcal2 anyways. I wish I would of just done it from the beginning.

You don't wait on the unit and the canned tunes, which are pretty good themselves, only wait for the custom tunes.

unless you live beside the warehouse, you will have to wait a couple of days for the unit. or if they are offering gryphons at your local offroad shop, you wouldnt have to wait.

thats what i meant by wait. you have a wait time for the shipping. then a wait time for the tunes. if you can wait a couple of days for shipping, get a gryphon.
