Trust me I'm fully aware of what it takes to make a difference in ET's as my last street car was a notchback that ran 10.50's at over 130mph on pump gas through the 1/4.
The easiest way to drop your et is either add horsepower or drop weight.
I'm assuming most of the et drop was due to it revving higher and shifting better and of course it added a small amount of horsepower as well. More or less it didn't die down between gear shifts like it does stock. I can definitely feel it pull harder as well especially in the higher rpms.
Just for kicks I even made a few passes on the street with a buddies vehicle against mine.
I raced the exact same vehicle on the street and before and after there was a 3 truck length difference from a slow 1st gear roll through the end of drive.
Maybe my truck's times are a fluke but I have no reason to lie or exaggerate as I've owned 11 fox body mustangs and the slowest one ran 11.60's @ 114mph. That one was a mild H/C/I 10:1cr 306 N/A in a 3100lb 5 speed car.

I run at Rockingham, Piedmont, Dinwiddie, Waynesboro, Natural bridge, New London and Motor Mile.
I'm assuming you have a ton of mods to have that t/a turning 121mph.....
I've seen several Grand Nationals turning high mph with their stock 231cubic inch v6's with a healthy turbo but NO trans am's.
I know that bikes run that good as I have raced several on the street from 40mph rolls. But then again it's a bike so what do you expect. Pretty good power to weight ratio compared to a car.
