For the record "asinatra" was banned by Steve as per YOU. This was discussed via e-mail with Steve. Sorry I am not as personal as you discussing things, but that was between Steve and I. Mike you have the biggest "kid in the sandbox" attitude ever, I hope others see it and choose an alternative. MySpace as a cited source, lol. Good.

I'll be 20 in a few months. I pay for a lot of what I've got. I don't lie about it, my parents have helped me. But I also work every single day and go to school. I'm in the process of getting a business loan to open up my own business. My parents made me buy my first car, contrary to what some people think, it was a 1990 BMW 525i, we called it the Crusty B. I bought it for $3,000 with all of my money so I do work for what I've got. There's a lot more to say about everyone's life than what fits on a internet forum but people like to assume things before they know the whole story. I don't let it get to me though.

And, Thumper knows how to write using standard English, following the rules of punctuation, and employing proper grammar.

It may not seem like much to those who have embraced "text messaging" as a means of mis-communication, but it does wonders for credibility.

And, he knows how to express his opinions without resorting to "name calling".

Yup, it's a bit of a surprise that he's only 19!

No kidding but what can you expect? It's the internet after all.

It has to be the "impersonal" nature of thiis medium, doesn't it? On another thread, in another forum, I commented on the fact that this was a bit like the old "ham radio" conversations - that really brought the world together. Perhaps if we heard each other's "voices", we could be more civil.

I know I don't really enjoy fighting anyone anymore - I've had enough of war.

Why take potshots at "perceived" impressions? And, interestingly, of the forums I haunt, this is the only forum where people seem to snipe at others. It doesn't happen on the "Appearance Products" Forum, nor on the "Electrical Systems" Forum, or on the "King Ranch" Forum. Once in a while, I visit some of the other forums too, and I don't see this level of incivility.

And, the thread has been HiJacked Beyond All Redemption. (HJBAR - doesn't have the "zing" of FUBAR, does it? ).

Can we fix it? (Our attitudes, I mean).

This forum does create more bad attitudes than other, that's a fact. However there is a lot of great information to be found in here and a lot of smart people, as well as a lot of not so smart people. I used to love internet pissing matches, I guess that was the "youngin" inside of me but now I don't bother with it. Most of the time your not going to change those peoples minds so it's pointless. If they don't want to accept it, so be it. I will say this that there are a few people, mostly one as of right now, who likes to stir the pot in every forum that he can. *Cough*Shinesintx*Cough*

The internet is great for finding information on all subjects. You just have to weed out the BS and people spreading the BS. I like this forum but somedays I wonder if some people are just trying to spread false information.

I just thought I'd stop by to see if Troyer responded at all and I'm not surprised at all to read what he said.
Back before the Evo was officially release I was thinking about getting TP tuned but every time I read one of his posts I wanted to puke, thinking to myself "How could a professional act so childish?", calling people out on the internet. I chose stock over that attitude. Then came Bill and gave me hope for tuners once again. I love my Edge Evo and will love the Gryphon when I get Bill to custom tune it for me I'm sure.
Don't worry Thumper, I'm on your side
