The best my 03 has been was 8.3 on the level 2 custom tune on 89 octane with 285s, 3.55 gears, AEM intake, and 3" Magnaflow exhaust according to the display . Kinda hard to gauge since it's as slow as christmas compaired to my old full bolt-on Dakota R/T that did it in mid 5 seconds.

 

Well its not accurate at all, take it to the strip and then see, It will really upset you when the truck actually does 0-60 in 11+ seconds.

 

I'll take your word for it. I bought my truck to haul around my sport quad and to get around at the deer lease so spending the money and driving an hour to the drag strip with my truck would be retarded.

Did another run tonight with the bigger tires, it ran a 7.77 again, I don't see how it can be sooo far off if the speed is right, I guess they just "Turbocharged" their stopwatch.

 

Has anybody tried or compared one of those G-Tech performance measuring devices?I have the RR model but not sure of its accuracy-Hadnt tried it in the truck yet,Just in the car with a 5.4

 

Used one once, it showed about .5 sec faster 1/8 mile, and some outrageous power levels, like 350hp and 400tq.

 

Thats about the horsepower/torque mine shows-This is not in my F-150-Just the edge in the truck.I did set it up like it said with weight and the whole thing,But times do seem slower than they shoud be and horsepower/torque should be around 550rwhp.(08 GT-500 w/mods)I guess the track is the truth,They just closed the one that was 4 miles from the house-Sucks!
