the 0-60 may be off....but i believe the truck is running in the high 15s.....i ran this morning on 3/4 tank of gas and it ran a 16.03 1/4 im tryim
ng to take it to the strip this weekend to find out the truth. i cant see why u people dont think this truck is capable of running high 15s? its no slouch nor is it dogged on. i compare it to the 2 previous mustangs ive owned before this truck which both ran in the 13s NA and it doesnt seem that much slower and yes i do realize it is bigger and heavier but the truck hooks up and goes

stock sc's don't run high 15's with even a tuner ,exhaust , and cai unless under perfect conditions-**** -i can make an edge make my 9k lb van show it's running in the 16's-doesn't take a rocket scientist

When you go to the strip be sure to leave your crack pipe at home. Post your numbers when you get back!

I take it you didn't watch my video before making this comment.

HHMM. I don't think it's capable because....well I have an '06 Supercrew on the OEM 20's & tires, I then added a 2.5" custom exhaust with a Magnaflow muffler, a Air Force One 3.5" intake, then a custom tuned Xcal 3 from Troyer Performance, and then I re-geared the truck from 3.55's to 4.10's. Even after doing all that I STILL didn't break into the 15's. Had I dropped the full spare and taken out the two hitches in the bed I think I might have but to believe you just plugged in an Edge and set it to level 2 and BAM! you're in the 15's.

Not to mention I had the Edge before Xcal and I have more power than I did before.

It's those 20's that are killing you, get some 17's or 18's and run again.

16.37 1/4 mile last nite and the titan next to me ran a 14.0 flat............i guess he was on crack too....lol........i had tire spin on launch,i think with some fine tuning 15s are not going to be an issue and remember the truck is stock except the edge. and yes the edge was off by a half second.....how in the hell are those titans that quick?

The titan wasn't stock, they run high 14's and 15's, but those are good times for a tuner only truck. Titans are 5sp autos and have more hp/tq as well, plus they are DOHC, so they are more performance oriented. But launch in 4wd if you have tirespin, my 60 ft times dropped .3 doing 4x4 launchs.

Yah, I know they are. They definitely slowed my truck down when I put them on.

i find some of these times that are under 8 secs and some that are like 7.2 hard to believe because i have a 01 supercrew with 5.4l with 3.55s and cutom tuned edge on level 2 and a cai and best i have ever run on level 2 was 9 flat and on level 3 best i did was 8.8

i have a hard time beleveing some of these times due to the new models 04 and up are heavier and only have 40 more hp and only 15ft of torque

either my edge on 0-60 is off or some guys here are lying i want time slips to prove it

i just did it today and tested three times...
1. with tire spin 8.4
2. less tire spin but let up a little b4 60 because i thought i saw a cop 8.2
3. final 7.97 i was shocked but am happy i broke 8

edge level 2, canned
high flow maggie cats, and cat back
k and n 77
285 bfg at
built tranny

seemed a lot faster at level three, but its to expensive, i was getting no better gas mileage.

But for the sad part, in real life on a 1/8 mile you will be lucky to run a 11.0 at 62 mph, which is about a 10.8 or so 0-60. The calc is way off, mine shows a 7.55, but at the strip its a diff story, 10.7's at 64 mph, def. not even close to a 7.55 0-60.
