If it's November, you're probably going to be getting winter gas.

Question though, did you ever talk to Justin about this?

I honestly thought he'd just think I'm whining. Ill call and talk to him before saying anything else. How much does a dyno run usually cost?

I believe $150, I'm not sure. Just call him and explain the situation. I'm not saying you're lying, I'm just trying to figure out what would cause the poor mileage. I just can't account it to anything but either bad gas or a winter blend. Do this before you call him, return it to stock, disconnect/connect the neg on the battery, and than re-load the tune. See if that helps any ... PM me with the results so we don't jack this thread. LOL

Ok, did that. Returned to stock, drove it and liked it better than both tunes. Just went and filled up with 93 and put on the perf. tune. Only difference is it idles higher and the shift points are different. Of course I haven't and can't for a while, check the mileage. I'll call tomorrow. Thanks for the help. I'll make sure to post his response, and what we get done. Guess I should start a new thread.

Anyone that thinks they are having problems is welcome to contact me to see if we can resolve them. Some trucks are just a little different than most and need special adjustments.

I uploaded the factory settings back to my '05 before trading it in by the way. I called SCT and they referred me out to a local dealer, who told me that he hadn't bought the new software yet and that '07 wasn't compatible software. I guess it will help the papers on my desk stay put for awhile.
I had the same issue when I bought a used Xcal2 for my 07. What you will need to do is upgrade your Xcals firmware to be compatible with the 07-08 model trucks. You can download the upgrade from the SCT website for free. Once that is done you can call VMP or go to his website and order a new tune. I have used his tunes and they work very well and Justin will work with you to make sure it is what you are looking for. I would not try using the old tunes at all the chances that your PMC matches the old one are slim to none. VMP is very good about getting your tunes back to you too. You will not be 6-8 weeks waiting for his stuff.

All I did was go to the SCT website and down loaded the update from the download and driver menu for the Xcal2 and followed the instructions for the 1.15 version upgrade. Review the instructions to get yourself familiar with what to expect during the upgrade and you should be all set. I also downloaded the other updates that were listed for the XCal2 while I was there.

Whether it works or not ---try !!

This is what one of there tuners told me, so it may work.

Of course, I just bought mine --so assume it has the latest fireware. SVT x2 locks to vehicle, plug it in and select program vehicle, then use the down button to select "Return to Stock" and follow the obvious cues.

I keep trying to download the latest firmware. I get xcalsf-V1.15.lu2, which is a LU2 file. apparently I don't have the software on my computer to open an LU2 file so I need to know what software to install to accomplish this?

This is a little old, but you need a program called live update 2. Go here:
http://sctflash.com/techsupport.php

Click on get updated, then select 9400, then device software, then search, then the program at the bottom.
