Thank You Chris!!!!

have that problem."

Glad to hear the great news about Chris being O.K. physically. Please send all of our thanks for service to our country. The fact that we have pages and pages of threads about lifts, CAI's, tuning etc.. is a testament to the blanket of security that our armed forces provide our country.
I hope Chris gets the help and support he deserves for stepping forward and taking an oath that the majority of our population is not willing to take while exercising the rights that oath protects.

Chris, I am sorry for the loss of your fellow soldiers but I that is what we risk when we sign up to protect our country's and families rights and freedoms. There had better be a special place in heaven for the people that lay down their lives for another.

Thank you,

Bill, that's GREAT NEWS!!

Reassure your son that AWOL is NOT desertion, nowhere close!

I'm sure the Corps sees this frequently now, Army as well, and there will be a note in the record, nothing more.

I'm not qualified to give any advice about almost anything, but if you're able to look around, look into, ask locally for an esteemed psychologist with experience in combat trauma, it would be better than what the VA can provide. Better for your son.

Just make sure that your boy knows that all of the Americans who matter are in his debt, that we honor him and his buds..

Bill, glad to hear the good news. Your son is a hero to many even if he doesn't believe that. He definitely needs to return to base as soon as possible because yes the military is forgiving, but that forgiveness will only extend so far.

The most important thing is that he get the help he needs so that he can go on to lead a normal and productive life in or out of the Corps.

Many familes will be without loved ones this holiday season whether those loved ones are deployed or have paid the ultimate sacrifice. We should all remember them in our prayers and give thanks for these brave men and women who stand the watch while we sleep safely in our beds.

Bill, that's great news!! I can't imagine what your son is going through, but I'm sure that talking to his father has provided him with much needed support.

Chris is a hero.
