Got an X cal 3
Got an X cal 3
Hey guys i got the x cal 3 today. I just put it on the 87 tune for now because i had a full tank of gas. anyways my first impressions of it are pretty good. Definitely noticeable throttle response. It seems to pull a lot harder from 50 mph and up too. I cant wait to try the 93 octane tune. Right now this is good for me but custom tunes could be in the future.

wxscpo- The x3 has the option to run canned tunes or you can also run custom tunes. if im not mistaken you had to run custom tunes on the xcal 2. Im just running the 87 tune right now and i like it. I believe the x3 also has a bit more memoery than the x cal 2.

I believe one of the main benefits of the Xcal 3 over the 2 is much deeper data-logging capabilities.. A huge benefit to those who want or need the info but not that much use to someone who stops at the average mods.. Though it's always good to have access to more information than less!
