Exclamation Need help on xcal 2 from troyer

What do you have to do in order to get one from them with custom tunes? What are the costs that some of you have paid. I have read where people send off their sheets to TP, and other stuff. Any help from you guys will be appreciated.

Call them and tell them you are a forum member and interested in the Xcal2 and custom tuning. The people there are great to talk to and will answer all your questions.

i have had custom tunes from troyer for a few weeks. i still love driving my truck every day. call them tell them you want an x-cal2. they will send you some worksheets, fill them out HONESTLY, then 8 weeks later, and $425 later, you will fall back in love with your truck.

weelllllll call them when they are open tomorrow. They are very very helpful and will spend all the time on the phone that is needed to get everything perfect. You will place an order, and they will take some information and send you worksheets. You will fill them out, fax them back, then wait a couple weeks. be specific on the worksheets.

Do they fax them rignt then after you get off the phone, or a few days later? And its cost about 425 with the custom tunes or for just the tuner itself?

i actually bought my xcal2 used for 150$ then paid TP for custom tunes (PM me if you want pricing they gave me) but yeah i got it all cheaper then buying brand new xcal2 from them. they give you a discount for being a member here.

You give 'em a call, they ask you some general questions about your truck (be sure to tell them that you're a member of this site) and how you use it, then email you the worksheets.. print those out, answer all the questions and then fax 'em back to Troyer.

Then wait for about 8 weeks or so to receive the tunes.. Your credit card won't be billed until they ship.

I've had mine a couple weeks now I still can't wipe the smile off my face..

Oh, and yes that price includes the Xcal 2 and the three custom tunes..

Did you have any other tuners in your truck before? Are custom TP tunes really that much better, like gain and performance wise? And to get them to custom tune does it have to be an xcal2 or is that the required tuner?

Hi.

For an 04+ (CAN OBDII protocol) Ford vehicle, your choices are an Xcal2 ( most mature and common), a LiveWire, or an Xcal3.

Each has a different feature set, but all of them will allow TP's custom tuning to be flashed to your truck.

This thread may help - re; your previous question(s): https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=279960

Good luck!
