Post Tuner test reviews

Ran across this today and thought with all the questions on tuners in here I would post the link for everybody. Im running the edge and thought this test was interesting to read, it has vids and full test results shown for each run they done. I didnt see any troyers in it though.

I don’t know how much faith I would put into a product comparison that was conducted by the manufacture of one the products being tested. That being said last year Diesel Builder Magazine held a Diesel Tuner Shootout and published the results in their June 2006 Issue. They tested Hypertech, Edge, and Superchips against each other on a Powerstroke, Duramax, and a Cummins. Here is a link to that article. http://www.dieseltunershootout.com/

I personally would love to see someone do a dyno comparasion on the popular tuners including troyer bama and vmp and see just how much diff they really make.

I want to go on the record and say that I do believe that troyer and bama and vmp would make better power but I want to see just what the diff really is

Why did they use a useless Chevy. They should have done all tuners on both the trucks. I bet this one would smoke them all!! http://www.gohypermax.com/ProductDis...b-dfb47379b1c6

I want a diesel sooo bad!

Oh yeah check out this 14sec Excursion too! That thing is sick

This is the best thing I could get you guys without digging too far into it. . LOL

Bama seems to make a little less power than both Troyer and VMP with no advantages to their tuning. It's still a good tune though, don't get me wrong.

Horsepower or torque numbers are great, if you need that, but I want to know who offers the best tunes to provide the best overall driveability improvements.

Everyone is going to have a different opinion. Beauty is in the eye of the "beer"holder.
