Installed Edge, Won't start now??

dang man sorry to hear about all that. it cost me over $900 to get everything reflashed once it was said and done. had to get a new ecm and everything. anyone wanna buy MY edge?

01, this is the way it goes.
The dealer will rub your nose as much as you allow them to.
A stock writer usually is of no use because the PATS and the PCM must be programmed to communicate with each other.
I would have thought EDGE would know that by now.
You need to have the PCM reflashed and two keys for the PATS to be complete.
Everyone that uses an EDGE is subject to the same thing should something go wrong.
I becomes an expensive lesson playing, sometimes.
You get upset; but remember you decided to entered into this.
Getting angry at others is the cover for this decision.

turns out all in all everythgin worked out they erased my pcm and reprogrammed all that had to be in there i drove home n called edge they walked me through the set up so i didnt fuuk anythiung else up n it wokred out nicely i love the edge now eventho i talked **** before hah its all good tho im a happy customer. now lets see if edge gives me my money.

The other day I had a party at my place and had my truck playin music. I have an amp so it ended up draining my battery after a few hours. When I tried starting it didnt even try to start and my edge was flashing when I was cranking it over. After I jumped it the edge powered up and actualy didnt give me any issues....I thought for sure something was going to go wrong....thank god...

dude I had the same thing happen to me accept i ad no amp, I think leaving the key on with the edge powerd up and radio on for an hour drained mine.Somehow i got away free and jumped it and decided to reprogram it and no problems. Only odd thing was my gauges were sweeping everytime,also the edge would not turn off even with the key out.After i jumped it, It all worked out.Im still thinking of unloading mine to someone and using that money towards a troyer tuned xcal2. Im not as pleased as i want to be with the mods I have along with the edge.My 0-60 times are so slow compared to others with less mods. My best is a 12.5 on level 3.

Im glad to hear you got it up and running. The 0-60 seems very slow??? I wonder what the deal is?I just swapped mufflers today (went from flowmaster super 40's to maggie 14" si/do) and I did a quick 0-60 run on level 2 to see if I gained any time and I ended up running a 8.4(.2 faster than the flows! on the same level) and this is with only switching my gear ratio and tire size.

Man i dont know,it has me confused because its feels like it runs good but i have no clue why im 4-5 second behind everyone elses times with the same year model truck.I would expect the 04's and up to be faster with the 3v set up.The only thing that i have not changed out on my truck that probably needs to be is the plugs and cops.As far as i know they have never been changed execpt for one cop that went bad years ago.The truck just hit 78k.The next mods i would like to eventually add would be the denso plugs with the high voltage cops from troyer,underdrive pullys,dual electric fans,and the valve body off troyers site,and possibly the stacked tranny coller off troyers site to for pulling my 30 foot travel trailer.If you add this stuff to my currant mods, the only things left would be internal stuff like cams,injectors etc.All i can say is that the truck seems to run, idle great. NOt sure why its so slow and really has trouble evenburning the tires. I think i did longer stringer burn outs on the stock tune. Right now i am runner level 2 with 87 oct +2 from 1-3 shifts and adjusted 3.55 setting from the predetermined 3.31 and the tire size to 2445.Maby im not hitting the throttle wide open ,I assume this means pegged to the floor right?I wonder if for some reason when my throttle body was installed the wire is not set in right and im not getting all the throttle needed?Any thoghts would help thanks
