Whos got a 4.6 and an edge evo??????

I am currently looking at buying an edge evo for my 98 4.6. I would love to tlak to someone who has that combo. Is anyone out there. Tell me what you think about it.

I have an intake and exhast as well as i have ported and polished my tb and the elbow behind it. I am worried about getting a lean condition.

OK, I know it's not your saying (referring to your sig), but isn't it time we quit referring to eastern states like MO as midwest. I'm from ND and realize that its the great plains (the center of the country), but east of the great plains should not be the midwest anymore. give it up to KS,CO,NE,OK,SD etc.

I have one, and absolutely love it! I do not think you would get a lean condition seeing as many of the members here have intake/exhaust on thier trucks, with no problems. If you would, the edge would tell ya!

im glad to hear that. I was afraid of getting a lean condition. Has anyone gotten a dyno done with a 4.6 after teh edge? And FYI i did do a serch but i couldn't find anything with a 4.6 from my year range. All i could find was newer models and the 5.4. Also i couldn't find any info for tunes for my year model. Does anyone know a link for some? I have a manual so i dont have to worry about shift firmness. Any ideas??????????

if you've got a manual alot of the edge's function (since you control firmness) is wasted, give these folks a call, they can get you roaring

The only functions lost if he has a manual are the shift firmness and shift settings. The same settings he'd lose if he'd use Troyer's tunes and has a manual...
