sorry I should have clarified, I meant in the chips forums. I went through and there was only 7 pages, but just realized that if i type in the topic i was looking for it comes up with more, I thought I could just page through but I guess you have to search the archives. Thanks and sorry for the confusion. I take it by your name you're a mine geologist, who are you working for, I'll be getting my mining engineering degree next may.

Secondly, you are correct. I am a geologist by trade. I'm with an environmental firm in Louisville. I manage a range of sites -- naturally, my focus is more along the lines of soil and groundwater but, I'm one of the few within my field that multi-task on a much larger basis. For example, as I type, I'm sitting at a 'field office' for a Fortune 500 company where I manage all of the Title V air permitting work. Tomorrow, I believe I'm standing behind a rig spinning 5.25 hollow stems into the ground to 30' bgs to obtain some groundwater samples. Thursday involves meeting with a client on some air dispersion modeling and then a regulator (state EPA) on a site where we are going for soil & groundwater closure. Friday, it's back to the 'Fortune 500 company' for meetings with Senior Legal staff concerning haz-waste and backup generator air permitting issues.
There's my week if you were interested -- you probably weren't.
Anyway, I've found that consulting has been fairly rewarding. You really can't get rich in it but, it's a nice variety and you get to see and do some very interesting stuff. I mean, I never would've been in Montana and Washington and Nevada and Oregon for weeks on end managing remedial activities with the non-consulting or industrial sector.

Give me a yell if you ever want to discuss it further. I work along side other environmental personnel (including engineers, industrial hygenists, and a barrage of other scientific 'types').

Had my truck dyno'd with the edge on level 3, I have a K&N drop in filter a airaid MIT and a 40 series flowmaster SIDO i pulled 247 hp and 334 tq The guy running the dyno seemed to think I might be able to pick up 8-10 more hp with a true cat back instead of the flow.
This guy seems to really know his stuff Chip Foose has used him to tune several cars for him.Accutaly got to meet Chip today very down to earth and nice guy.
