Where to even begin... (Thanks Troyer)

Made the trip over to Troyer Performance yesterday for my e-fan install. Left yesterday morning at 4:40A.M. and just now got back home, but it was so worth it.

While the e-fan install was going on, my intake just happened to arrive and I picked up my livewire while there also.

Mike is a super nice guy, along with his whole staff. Dee Dee was a little skiddish of me at first, but was licking my hand by the end of the day. Dee Dee is a dog btw.

I could sit and listen to Mike explain things all day, and just keep coming up with questions for him. He is very knowledgeable in his profession.

The e-fans performed flawlessly on the long trip home. According to the livewire the coolant temp stayed at 194 all the way home except going down hills and it would drop a few degrees.

Next, the intake sounds great. Normal driving and you never know it's even on, but when you step on the gas it makes a beautiful sound.

Last and best... The custom tunes and livewire. I really love what it done for the truck. It really responded like a different truck on the drive home. I can't say enough for the tune on this truck.

I did get to put a new silverado in it's place on the way home, and run the Superduty up to well over 100 a few times.

Next on the list... headers and exhaust. Be seeing you again soon Mike.

I woke up this morning like a kid at Christmas. I had to go back out and play with the new toys again.

Glad to hear you like the intake - My next mod will most likely be an intake. What kind did you get and why did you choose that particular one.

Thanks
Kenny

I went with the K & N. It was pretty much the only choice I had for the 3v V10.

EDIT - crap , ya beat me to it lol

Hey Kenny - it's a K&N, from the pix.

Probably because an AF1 model is not available for an '06 F250 (yet).

That thing is soooo clean

BTW - The livewire cables I do not like - thinking about the aftermarket pods available for the SD's?

Cheers
Bubba

I think I will just leave it where it is. I like the thought of the pillar pod mount, but then I will loose my grab handle. And I do use the grab handle every time I get in and out.

I wish the cable was on the back of the unit instead of the bottom.

Nice.

Why not just go straight for the forced induction?

Anybody have a website for these mounting pods? I don't like the look of that much.

I just ordered the livewire and I'm having a hard time not ordering the e-fans, pulley's, and intake to go with it. Thanks for the pictures. You've pushed me a little more in the direction of buying them. Now that I've seen the fans installed, I'm almost ready to pull the trigger. I've got the 5.4 but it's close enough.

That’s a great TP tune story. My trucks TP tunes also run great: Mikes tunes “obliviously” are da’bomb, the way I like it

What kind of power did you put down?

It has to go back to be put on the dyno. I still need the exhaust first.

According to the est. on the livewire it is showing a range from 313hp to 400hp with a 0-60 of 7.40 I have more faith in the 0-60 than I do the hp #'s though.
