7.2 Seconds 0-60 With 35's on. Level three tune 93 octane +1 timing. My buddies 03 Chevy used to run dead nuts with my truck. Now I can't believe how much faster my truck is than his. Thanks to the Edge

The other day i updated my edge and it seems to run considerably stronger.I,m not sure if they changed something but mine was made in september,2006.Everyone may want to think about updating it with my model truck and 5.4.

My first run on level2 w/o custom settings with 89 octane gas.
0-60= 7.90 seconds

05 F150 Supercrew 4x4 LS with stock Lariat 18s.

Performance:
3.5" AF1 Intake
Magnaflow SIDO catback exhaust
91 Octane TP Custom Tuning

0-60 time as calculated with my stop watch (not extremely scientific by pushing the button when I hit the gas and stopping it when I hit 60, but a very close view of it)

7.0 seconds

Temperature was 40 degrees at an elevation of 893 feet above sea level.

I give this extra info because you guys really need to take these factors into consideration.

^^^ 100% agree ^^^

I've mentioned this several times already. Too much and your PCM will actually pull timing - the knock sensing system is that good, and your ears are not.

Duke's right too - the Weatherman & the topology have a BIG say on the results .

Correct, how much of a diff would it be roughly from say someone in FL compared to CO.I have no idea how to figure this out.Is there a formula to figure diff in elevation?

Duke's the (****)lytical around these parts - I'm just a bum in camo.

I'll let him tackle this one.

I can count to 24, though

Cheers

haha! Yeah I've heard many a time that I pay too much attention to the details. We all have our faults I guess.

Who mentioned fault? It was a compliment

Consider the source ...

Basicly I started this thread for a rough comparison of how our trucks are running compared to each other.Weather this be stock or upgraded and also to see what one can expect when they add a mod.The main reason for buying the Edge was so i could run times after doing a mod to see my improvements and share w/ others. This summer i will take my truck to the track and see how my Edge compares.I plan on doing a AFI intake, add Xpipe, long tube headers to my duel exhaust, electric fans, other basic bolt ons and i will list my new times as I add parts.I am aware that diff trucks respond w/ parts diff and altitude plays a role also. But if i run the same place for my times it should be pretty close.

I've run my truck once on the 0-60 with Edge on setting 2 no custom options running 89 octane.

It ran a 7.55

My truck is an 06 Supercrew with:

3.55 L/S
custom exhaust with Magnaflow muffler & Imco resonator
K & N drop in air filter

I thought that was pretty good. I'd like to see what it would do on level 3 with 93 octane.

Wish i had a 5.4L my 4.6L with edge level 2 ran a 10.00 flat this morning, that is very depressing considering you guys are running in the 7's with the 5.4L. Is there any thing I can do to improve my times, all i did was install the edge and put it on level to, is there some custom tuning i can do with the edge to improve it a little.

Here are some of my mods
K&N 77 series
Flowmaster 40 catback
edge level 2
