I can pull 0-60 times in 4.6 seconds! (I cheated a little)

 

Best 0-60 time with just the Edge was a 7.29. I just installed the cold air intake below tonight and went for another run. With the intake add I ran a 7.07. This was just with the standard Level 3 on each run. Just got an e-mail today and the Magna 16616 is in route. Will have to wait until next weekend to install it.

 

Someone should change this Thread to REAL track times .

 

I heard the edge was fairly accurate! If you think about it, It might even be a hair slow...

 

Its just hard to belive when you see a truck with 35's and there 0-60 is 6.9 and a low 15 1/4 mile with just the edge, intake and exhaust. Witch is bs

 

the person that has that time has 33's!

 

I've been reading posts with 0-60 times in the low 7s with several performance mods on the trucks. My truck is bone stock from the factory except for an Edge evo that I run on level 2, 89 octane and no custom options. My 0-60 was 6.8 according to my Edge. I thought it was fluke so I ran it again both directions and stayed within a couple tenths of a second both times. Sooooo..... either my truck is exceptionally fast, everyone else's are exceptionally slow or the tuners have discrepancies. ???

Mine is an 04 FX4 Scab, 5.4, 3.73s.
The times depend a lot on the drivers ability to take off fast without smoking the tires too. I'm pretty good at hooking it up but 6.8 is still awful fast for a heavy stock truck!

 

I think these trucks to 0-60 in like low to mid 8's stock, but heck when you get the transmisson shifting alot faster and harder that seems like it would knock off atleast half a second!

 

Making it Breath In/Out Help alot and like you said faster shifts! Plus running higher oct helps too! Ford makes these trucks slow from factory...

 

woah chill there guy. not calling anyone out from this post but I have seen many post of guys using the edge and haveing very low times. Just go to the track and spend $10 get some real times.

 

no one was getting mad, i was just stating that he is running 33's not 35's as to what you had said...

 

no 0 to 60 but

 

0-60 7.01 1/4 @ 16.3 only mods are ram air hood and custom exaust
