Ok, how do you know if they changed your strategy. I'm going to take mine in soon to have the spark plugs changed. How will I know if they changed the strategy even though I will tell them not to. I'm using the edge programmer.

You need to read them from the PCM. The Xcal will do it. Unless you're in the line for the tunes,or are already running a tune ( but then you would've known how to read the strategy) I wouldn't worry. Unless you can see the coding,and compare the two, we won't really know if the new tunes might have worked. Usually software revs. are not radical changes, but rather incremental changes to address bugs, etc. Again, the risk is not worth it.

Instruct them not to reflash your truck when you take it in for service and have the Service Manager put it on the work order and both of you sign it.
If you intstruct them not to then they have no reason to mess with anything....
