Wtf?

I've had my Edge in for a couple weeks now and it's set on 3 with a few adjustments: 4:10 gears (to correct speedo), tire size adjustment, and shift firmness. Running premium fuel and all I'm getting is 10 second 0-60 (90 degrees). What's wrong here? I see most you guys getting in the 8s.
And I can never spin the tires from a launch.

Just hooked up my Edge today, set it on level 2, only adjusted for tire size change and upped the top speed.....I did a crap load of runs with different settings and was getting above 8.5's....On the way home tonight, outside temp was mid 60's, and I got 8.01!!!!!

I tried my stock 97 F-150 5.4 out today... 0-60 in 10 seconds....

At first I was mad, but then I figured this is purty good, considering 170,000 HARD miles, oversized tires, 500-600 lbs of crap in the back of the truck......

I got a 7.9 on a strait stretch now that I have my K&N installed. I think the intake made the most difference of any mod I have added. I am getting the performance I wanted + 18.5 mpg on highway and an easy 16 mpg around town. I am pretty satisfied with that. My only complaint is the loud hum of the intake at around 2200 RPM. Cruising at 80 mph it creates a lot of noise that wasn't there before, and also slowly speeding up from 65 or so I get the loud humming noise. Anyone else notice this, is it normal?

I installed the K&N about 3 months ago (FIPK 57-2556) and I immediately noticed 2 things: 1. Its louder at all RPMs and 2. Throttle response improved. Unfortunately not enough tho...which is why I am waiting for the XCAL2. My guess based on my experience is that it is normal to be a little louder.

I can't keep my tires from spinning at launch. If I ease onto the throttle, I get less spin and a better time than just punching it and wearing down my tires. Have you tried running the basic program with no mods?
