First 0-60 after Edge..

I have yet to do a 0-60 run with stock settings.. I will do that shortly.. Bu tI did do my first 0-60 run after the Edge on Level 2 with pretty much a full tank.. And i started off with turning slightly to get on the road with moderate acceleration so that I wouldnt spin the tires in the beginning..

But my first number was 10.5s

my truck has no other preformance mods.. I havent installed my volant yet but hopefully I will soon..

Anyone else with the Edge please post your best 0-60

It might just be how you eased onto it and turn in the beginning. but that sounds more like a stock 0-60 time not a post-edge time. Also check your tire size in the edge it might be wrong causing that time to show.

I run a 8.5-8.6 0-60 with my truck.. Its lifted on 35"s and weighs in at 6400lbs.

Right now my 05 4x4 is running 8.7 o-60,What is strange is originally it was running in the mid 7 range.Level 3 with 93 octane. The only things that have changed are air temps and the updates. Can air temps make that large of a difference??

I just installed my edge last night. I did a 0-60 on level 3 and got 9.8. I wasn't real impressed with that. I changed the tune to level 2 and got 9.59 about 30 minutes later. The temp was about 85 during all this. This morning I returned to stock and got 8.58 for my 0-60. The temp was about 15° cooler, but I expected a lot more from the level three program.

Temp. has a lot to do with it. Dont forget fuel has changed also which doesnt help anything. My 8.7 run was a 50* day.

0-60 times vary so much from f-150 to F-150, and day to day. There's a lot of variables that contribute to a large range of 0-60 times. Ya'll have to remember, Ford didn't design these trucks to be dragsters. They were designed to give longevity, and versatility, while maintaining reasonable () fuel efficiency.

I was just really dissapointed in my stock tune time beating out the level 3 tune by more than 12%. Hopefully my K&N cold air intake will come in early next week and I can try a run early in the morning on level three.

At what RPM does your truck shift gears?

It seems like it was around 4200-4600 this morning, but I'm not sure of that. I was watching the speedometer and time. I'll have to check that. I really feel like it was probably the air temperature that made the difference. I am going to try again tomorrow morning with level three and see if I can beat 8.59. I'll probably play with it this weekend and pay closer attention to RPM.

On Edge Level 2

Well I did a 0-60 run today on a straight away and I punched it the whole time and I ended at 8.5 secs. I will do a 1/4 mile run tomorrow at the same location...

How does 8.5 sound for a 4.6L reg cab with stock engine and intake..

I havent had time to install my Volant yet...
