Xcal2, and the Wife...
Thanks ONELOWF, JMCmike & Krohbar! I will still be able to add some mods to my truck, but it just may take longer to save the money for each mod now! Thanks for the info on the car seat onelowf!! I will definitely be looking for a awesome car seat! Wonder if they make one with out of carbon fiber to make the interior of my FX4?
Redman, I will be 34 by the time the baby is born. We just got married in december but decided to go ahead a start a family cause we are not getting any younger. My wife will turn 30 in may. This is both of ours second marriage but this will be the first child for both of us.

Well, my tuner is going to be on it's way, sans tunes though. My computer code is in a suspect batch that may have been reflashed... Gonna have to check the code first. The light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer. Of course, no one said that light wasn't the 5:15...
The truck has been in twice... Once for the first oil change, the other to have a key fob programmed. They wouldn't do a reflash for those, would they?

HI Krohbar,
the reason we are doing that for your case, and i the case of some others too, is to avoid the need to do a second set of tunes i the middle of this large bunch of Group Buy orders.
Your code is one that DOES tend to be reflashed frequently, so what we are doing for those who own trucks whose codes tend to be reflashed is sending their tuners out blank so they can do a simple "Read Strategy," - then they give us that 7-digit code, and then we email their tunes to them - so this will not slow things down, in fact, it may serve to speed them up, actually, as we'll *know* with certainty what is actually in that PCM.
remember, these trucks can be reflashed at eh factory (ours was) before it ever hits the dealer, or it can be reflashed prior to retail delivery - or during *any* kind of service visit, all without your knowledge. So we have a pretty decent feel for which trucks codes tend to be reflashed more frequently, and to avoid the need for tuning the truck twice and slowing up the whole process for *everyone* else, for some we are sending the units out blank so the customer can read the PCM and we'll then do those tunes within a day or two and email them right out, so it will happen pretty quickly, with assurance that you get the correct code to match what's actually in your vehicle.
