In all my years working for the Big Blue Oval, I have NEVER heard of anyone getting the PCM code from the vehicle vin#. It would be a wild (lucky)guess as there are literally hundreds of different PCM I.D. #'s that were, and are used on our vehicles.
I am calling BS on this one .........Or you are the luckiest person ever to make a non-calculated guess raider....It is next to impossible..

I don't know, maybe your 14 years were better than mine. What part of Ford Motor Company do "you" work for so I can do a comparison and see if the 16 years I have been here compares to your 14 years, once you tell me..

Hi Raider - you got it right on both counts. Impressive.

Thanks.

Cheers
Vic

EDIT: I think I need to add, that 'one' is not a statistically significant result

Question Chip

Now that we have all that worked out. Does any one have any first hand expierience with these chips, and what I could expect to gain by installing one. I have already ordered it but really don't know what to expect.

Hi Mark;

At this point, I'd respectfully suggest you grab a cold one, sit down in a really comfortable chair (your back will thank you), fire up the 'ol pc and start Searchin' the Chips forum.

Trust me, it will keep you entertained and answer your questions - time will fly and all of a sudden your device will have arrived

All the facts, numbers and testimonials are here, no chit.

Cheers
Grog
