Xcalibrator . . . WOW!
Yup. After trying all three of my tunes, I can concur that the 'ol girl has been resuscitated ;-)), and the biggest difference was the 92 octane tune with a nice tank of Sunoco 94, and the WOT timing bumped +2 degrees. That's for my trips to the States, where that stuff is affordable ( $50 per tank versus $130 ). Otherwise it's either the 91 ( sh*tty gas tune) or the 92 perf tune on 92 octane corporate juice. Still very sweet tuning!
I have to admit though, that a Troyer Performance sticker would make it feel even better!
Cheers!

Yo Demon - to speed things up a bit, you might want to give his organization a call instead. Like most folks ( especially me ), he can talk a lot faster than he can type and can do a proper detailed consultation of your needs interactively - much better than email for this type of thing ;-))
Meanwhile, while you are waiting on Hold or for a call-back, do a Search here - you'd be suprised - amazed actually - by all the info relevant to your question you can dig up.
Cheers!

Hi Darren,
As Vic (MGDFan) very kindly mentioned in his post, we get hundreds of emails & posts every day here - so the hot tip is to just give us a call at our number listed below & our staff will be happy to go over all of that with you in thorough detail. They'll easily help you sort out exactly how to have your set of 3 different custom tunes set up for how you use your vehicle & your preferences, etc. It's very easy to cover all of that via phone - as Vic mentioned, typing takes hundreds of times longer than talking, so we do those kinds of things in person or by telephone, & thanks very much for your understanding on that!
Also, Vic's other suggestion is also right on the money - about making use of the SEARCH feature here - you can easily retrieve & read posts on any topic, it's a great feature & has excellent search filters - fun to use, and that's the way to instantly look up posts on just about anything.
As to the more popular tuning combinations - for example, the owner who is using his truck as a daily driver but also wants to be able to tow on occasion, as well as have the best possible performance on both regular and premium gas, what we recommend is to have us to an 87 octane performance tune, then a premium gas towing-compatible tune (you want max power for towing heavy loads, so we recommend doing that towing tune as a premium gas tune - but we can do it for 87 octane, too), and then last, do a premium gas *maximum* performance tune for all-out power & performance. That way, you have tunes for everything, between the stock factory tune and our 3 custom tunes, you have 2 tunes for towing (stock for 87 octane and then ours for premium gas max power towing) as well as performance tunes for each level of octane, 87 & premium - that gives you the utmost in flexibility. Now that's just one of the most popular combinations, to give you an example.
Sounds like you've got a nice truck there, by the way - and yes, it's not a speed demon by any stretch of the imagination as it's a heavy truck with a small engine. But all of that can be improved upon, and the place to start, in terms of the best bang-for-the-buck, is with our custom tuning.
Thanks for your post & we look forward to hearing from you!
